As a general rule of thumb, the higher the ceiling the bigger the profile you need. Gallery landings and grand hallways would typically have large to extra-large cornice, whereas smaller rooms and bathrooms would typiclly have medium to small cornice. At the end of the day, it is down to personal choice.

- Ceiling height less than 2300mm – Small Cornice.
- Ceiling height 2300 – 2500mm – Medium Cornice.
- Ceiling height 2400- 3000mm – Large Cornice.
- Ceiling Height 2700 -4000+mm Plus – Extra-large Cornice.
