Description
The Premier Cornice 71 Decorative Centre is a large, ornate centre section designed to be used with Premier Cornice 71. It is suitable for larger rooms or rooms with ceiling heights of approximately 2.5m and above.
The decorative pattern sits centrally along the length and creates a traditional Regency style feature. Position the centre section in the middle of the wall, then continue with Premier Cornice 71 on either side. The pattern can also be repeated at suitable intervals in particularly large rooms.
It is a good choice for large Entrance Halls, Dining Rooms, Living Rooms and period property renovations where a plain cornice may not have enough detail. Made from a lightweight high-grade polymer, the profile is supplied pre-primed and only requires a coat or two of good-quality branded paint.
For a complete decorative finish, it can be used with the matching Premier Cornice 71 Decorative Corner. You can use the centre and corner sections together or use the decorative centre on its own with Premier Cornice 71.
In the Room Set image, the Premier Cornice 71 Decorative Centre is used with Premier Railing 5 and the matching Ornate Corners for Premier Railing 5 to create decorative wall panels.
Do we supply pre-cut corners?
We don’t supply pre-cut corners with this profile. Simply use a Classic Mitre Box and Saw to cut the accompanying cornice lengths. Cutting the full lengths to suit your room reduces the number of joins and helps to create a more professional finish.
What paint shall I use?
The cornice is supplied pre-primed and requires a coat or two of good-quality branded paint. For more information about painting our profiles, please see our painting guide.
Adhesive coverage
Fix Power Adhesive = 1 tube will cover approximately 8m.
Fix Ultra Jointing Adhesive = 1 tube will cover approximately 35m of joins.
