Edwardian Cornice

Choosing the right profile.

The Edwardian period runs through the reign of Edward from 1901 to 1910 and beyond, to around 1920. Generally less ‘cluttered’ than the preceding Victorian era, rooms were bigger and colours lighter. Cornice and coving was still popular, but simpler, either linear or with simple clean designs that were less likely to collect dust.
